Privacy Policy

MEDVET VPN · Effective date: September 24, 2026 · Last updated: September 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what limited information MEDVET VPN (“MEDVET”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use the MEDVET VPN app for Android, and how we use it. Our main promise is simple: we do not keep your browsing history, the sites you visit, your DNS queries, or the contents of your VPN traffic. We do keep a small amount of account, subscription, connection, app usage and support information that we need to run the service, help you, and let you delete your account in the app.

1. No-Logs Commitment

MEDVET does not log or store VPN activity such as:

  • Browsing history
  • Traffic content
  • DNS queries
  • Sites (domains) or web addresses (URLs) you visit

To share server capacity fairly, check that the service is working, fix connection problems and stop abuse, we keep limited connection records linked to your account or device. These can include when a server configuration was given to your device, when you connected and disconnected, and which server and configuration were used.

These records never contain browsing history, DNS queries, the sites or web addresses you visit, or traffic content.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the limited information we need to run the service and support you.

2.1 Device and Account Data

When you first open the app, it creates an anonymous account for you. You do not need to give us your name or email to use MEDVET. We may store:

  • A random device ID created by the app
  • App version and app identifier
  • Device type (Android) and device model
  • Country code from your phone’s region setting
  • Preferred language
  • Subscription status (free or Premium)
  • Last active time

The random device ID is also saved with Google Block Store, so the same anonymous MEDVET account can come back after you reinstall the app or set up a new phone. We only put this random ID there. We never put your sign-in token or any VPN activity in Block Store.

If you change app settings, such as language, theme, accent color, vibration feedback or the Protection switches, these choices are saved to your account so they can be restored. If you set a display name in your profile, we store it too.

We use this information to run your account, keep the service working, and give support.

2.2 App Usage Data

We collect limited data about how the app is used, linked to your account. For example: when the app is opened, which setup and plan screens you see, which plan you choose, whether a purchase was started or completed, which settings you tap, and which server you choose (including the server’s country and address). This helps us understand how MEDVET is used, make the app better, and keep the service reliable. This data goes only to our own servers. We do not use it to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Each record may include its time, the app version, the IP address the request came from, and an approximate country, region or city worked out from that IP address by our network provider. The app usually sends these requests over your normal network, not through the VPN, so this is usually the IP address given to you by your internet or mobile provider.

2.3 Sign-In Information

Signing in is optional. If you choose Sign in with Google, we may store the Google account ID, name and email address that Google gives us, when available. We use them to link your account and help you get it back later.

2.4 Subscription and Billing Data

Paid plans in the app are sold through Google Play Billing. RevenueCat helps us check purchases and keep Premium access in sync. To do this, we share your anonymous account ID with RevenueCat. We may store:

  • Product IDs
  • Transaction IDs
  • Renewal or expiry status
  • Check details needed to manage access and match payments

In some regions, the app may also offer other ways to pay, such as a web payment page or Telegram. If you use one of them, the payment is handled by that payment provider. We send the provider your anonymous account ID so the payment is added to the right account, and we receive the payment result.

We do not store full payment card details.

2.5 Support Content

When you contact us in the app, we may store:

  • In-app support chat messages
  • Bug report text
  • An attachment you choose to add to a bug report

Support chat messages are passed to our authorized support team through Telegram. Some replies may be written with help from an AI service provider that works for us. Before a message is sent to that provider, we remove common personal details such as email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses and long card-like numbers. The provider also gets a few basic details needed to answer, such as your device model, app version and whether you have Premium.

We use this information to look into problems and answer your requests.

2.6 Optional Speed Test

If you choose to use the in-app Speed Test, the app sends short test requests to Cloudflare speed test servers to measure ping, download and upload speed. This feature is optional and is used only to show you the result.

2.7 Optional IP Checker

If you open IP Checker, our server reads the IP address of that request and shows it to you with an approximate country. The result is only shown to you and is not saved by this tool.

2.8 Optional Protection Features

Premium users can turn on Malware Protection and Family Mode while MEDVET is connected.

Malware Protection is designed to help stop known harmful sites from loading, such as malware, phishing, scam and other unsafe sites.

Family Mode is designed to help stop adult content from loading, as well as harmful or unsafe sites. When you use these features, MEDVET uses Cloudflare services to provide the protection. We do not use these features to keep browsing logs or store your VPN activity.

2.9 No Ads and No Push Notifications

MEDVET currently shows no ads, does not use your advertising ID, and does not send push notifications. While you are connected, Android shows a status notification for the VPN; it is created on your phone. If we add ads or notifications later, we will update this policy before they go live.

3. Permissions and Service Operation

3.1 VPN Permission

The VPN permission is needed to set up the encrypted VPN connection used by the service.

3.2 IP Addresses and Connection Status

We may process the IP address of a request to secure, route and fix requests to our service. As described in section 2.2, it may also be stored with an app usage record, along with an approximate location worked out from that IP address.

We keep the limited connection records described in section 1, but we never link an IP address or those records to the sites you visit, your DNS queries, or your traffic content.

3.3 In-App Account Deletion

You can delete your account inside the app: open Settings, go to the About section and tap Delete Account.

When you delete your account, we sign that account out on all devices, remove your email, Google account link and device ID from the account record, and mark the account as deleted. We may keep limited records, such as billing records and the support messages and reports you sent, only as long as they are needed for billing, security, support records or legal reasons. These records are no longer linked to your email or Google account.

Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Please cancel it in Google Play first (Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions).

After deletion, the random device ID stays on your phone and the app starts a new, empty anonymous account, so you can keep using the free version. If you can no longer use the app, you can ask us to delete your account by writing to support@vipn.io.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Run and maintain the app and the VPN service
  • Manage sign-in, account recovery and Premium access
  • Check purchases and keep billing status in sync
  • Understand how the app and the plan screens are used
  • Answer support chats and bug reports
  • Keep the service reliable and fix problems
  • Prevent abuse of the service

We do not sell personal information or build browsing profiles from VPN traffic.

5. Data Sharing

We share limited information only when it is needed to run the service:

  • Google, for Google Play Billing, Google Sign-In, Google Block Store and the Google Play in-app rating prompt
  • RevenueCat, to check purchases and keep Premium access in sync
  • Telegram, to pass in-app support messages to our authorized support team, and to handle a payment if you choose to pay through Telegram
  • An AI service provider, to help write replies to support chat messages, as described in section 2.5
  • Payment providers, if you choose to pay outside Google Play
  • Cloudflare, which helps deliver the service and the app’s requests to our servers, works out an approximate location from the request IP address, and runs the optional Speed Test and Protection features
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers that host, secure and run the service

We require these third parties to protect your information to a standard equal to the one described in this policy.

We do not sell, rent or share your VPN browsing activity, because we do not keep those logs.

6. Data Retention

We keep information only as long as it is needed for real service purposes, including:

  • Account and device data, while needed to run your account and give you access
  • Subscription data, while needed for access checks, matching payments and records
  • Limited connection records, while needed for capacity, reliability, fixing problems and stopping abuse
  • App usage records, including request IP address and approximate location, while needed for reliability and security
  • Support messages, bug reports and attachments, while needed for support and record-keeping

If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize account data that is no longer needed to run the service, as described in section 3.3.

We do not keep logs of browsing history, DNS queries, sites you visit, or VPN traffic content.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect stored information, including:

  • Encrypted connections where applicable
  • Access controls
  • Monitoring and regular maintenance

No system is completely free of risk, but we work to keep the service secure.

8. Children’s Privacy

MEDVET is not meant for anyone under 13 years old, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
